Foxwell BT705 Battery analyzer change from 500 CCA (default) to 800 CCA

At Sep 9, 2016, I sent email to Juliana, I questioned “I just bought your BT-705 battery analyzer. Question about selecting CCA before the test. Is there any way I can fix other number than 500 CCA?”.

In another word, I would like to know if I can set the default CCA number at 800 CCA and not 500 CCA (default number set in BT-705 before every test).

My batteries are 800 CCA and I make 30+ tests/day. Every test I run I have to change from 500 CCA (default) to 800 CCA. I want to set this number on 800 CCA by default.

Finally, I was told Foxwell BT705 is not allowed to set a default value.

Anyway I am happy with Foxwell BT705 for what it works.

Foxwell BT705 is very well constructed and the buttons are firm. The outer case is ruggedized and seems like it would hold up to standard wear and tear.

This BT705 battery tester looks and feels rugged, includes some very useful features, the cable has a nice hefty silicon jacket, and includes a nice blow molded case. The cord is long enough (7′) to allows me to do the “Start” and “Load Tests” from inside of the vehicles.

I tested this out on 4 different cars with known good systems and all came back accurate. They either tested bad or charge and retest. BT705 tool is laid out well and the interface is very user friendly.

The manual was written well with easy to understand instructions.

In a word, the industry standard for electrical millimeters is Fluke however they cost a lot more than this Etekcity multimeter. I plan on keeping this around for use around the house.
