Why is the BT715 test battery voltage inaccurate?

Q: I use Foxwell BT715 to test Ford F150. I tried to clamp the battery cable post clamp, then BT715 turned on and reported 35.6v. After that, I ran a battery test, and the test result showed that this is a 24V battery . Why does BT715 show 35.6v?

Some users asked what is the standard way of using clamps. It’s actually very simple, explained as follows:

The positive and negative clips of the battery inspection instrument are composed of two mutually insulated contacts (as shown in the figure).
When testing, ensure that each contact point is in good contact and is insulated from each other (meaning you cannot To close the end of the clamp, it must be opened).
